Our Story

Bill McFarland opened his pharmacy on the Loop back in 1984. Over the next 35 years, Loop Pharmacy faithfully served the community as a fixture in St. Albans. The Venue at the Loop continues that history through providing space for events, gatherings, and parties. Spearheaded by Bill’s children, the Venue is dedicated to the late Angela Born, who was a driving force in its formation.

Client Stories

The Venue is a new business. There are more reviews coming!

A close-up of a single, elegant centerpiece: a frosted glass vase with a sculptural form, holding a few minimalist sprigs of greenery and white florals, set on a muted stone surface. The background is an out-of-focus gradient wall in soft taupe, with subtle texture. Gentle, indirect window light softly caresses the vase, creating a glowing highlight on the glass and faint, diffused shadows on the tabletop. The shot is composed with shallow depth of field and rule-of-thirds placement, emphasizing refined detail and quiet luxury. The style is minimalist photographic realism, supporting the sophisticated ambiance of a modern event venue setting.

I CANNOT say enough good things about The Venue. I had a great experience from start to finish. The venue is stunning and the location is perfect. Plenty of parking and easily accessible for walkers and wheelchairs. The host gave me ample time for setting up and breaking down and the price is very reasonable. The pass-through kitchen made serving and refilling quick. Did I mention how spacious and clean it was? Thank you!! You will be hearing from me in the future for my next event.
